synopsis
The story begins with the death of the grandmother, Rosa. She hated religion and rabbis, yet even so, she’d reserved a site in the Jewish part of the cemetery. The Rashevski family is completely lost. All of a sudden, they’re worried, no longer recognize each other and disagree all the time. They don’t know how to bury her. They already miss her, and their new lives without Rosa are only just beginning. They begin to wonder about their identity and get caught up in very personal preoccupations, as if their lives weren’t already complicated enough. Fortunately, there’s the tango…
